Meadow Pond Farm offers several youth horse camps. Melissa Geertgens of Montrose, PA is the Camp Director. She has a BA Degree in both Elementary and Special Education from Misericordia University and a Masters in Literacy Education from Binghamton University. She currently is a Special Education teacher at the Middle School level. Melissa also has been providing equestrian riding instruction for over 10 years. These camps are held several weeks throughout the summer and over the winter holidays. Youth of various riding abilities and age are welcome. These are equestrian focused camps where lifelong riding skills and horse care/responsibilities are taught in a "fun-based" country setting. Campers receive instruction in both large and small groups through hands-on activities. In addition, several day/weekend clinics are held throughout the year on various topics.
